Chargers bounce back to top Sierra 9-3

Cypress, CA - After a rough start in the opening game against Long Beach City, the Chargers bounce back to defeat Sierra 9-3. Cypress dominated the game leading 7-0 after three quarters before Sierra's Sonia Stewart gets the Wolverines first goal at the 5:26 mark of the 4th quarter. Leading the Chargers is Jen Preciado's 5 goals on 12 attempts. Monique Dorado and Tanya Yeu add 2 goals each. Cypress evens its record to 1-1 after the first day of the tournament.

The Chargers will open play against Miramar at 8AM on Saturday and conclude with Orange Coast at 2PM.
